Hello! My name is Katie J., and I am a Service-learning Fellow at the Don and Verna Duncan Civic Engagement Center. I am a Senior at CWU pursuing an Elementary Education major. I am very interested in helping in the community and getting more people involved, especially getting more future teachers involved in the classroom.
This summer, I will be part of the Yakima River Clean-up Planning Committee. I will also be helping to plan the Holiday events, such as Holiday Extravaganza, Stocking Stuffers, and Giving Tree. Along with those projects, I will also be working to expand the STEPS program for the fall and the upcoming school-year.
My summer quarter office hours are:
Monday: out of the office
Tuesday: 9 am - 4 pm
Wednesday: 9 am - 4 pm
Thursday: 9 am - 4 pm
Friday: 9 am - 4 pm
