As a junior, I am excited to continue my involvement on campus and in the surrounding community. I am planning to earn my Bachelor's of Science in Sociology and minors in both Environmental Studies and Humanities.
I currently work with environmental and social initiatives in both the campus and local community. This position is perfect for me because throughout high school I was involved in an outdoor education program that educated youth about the environment. I also volunteered with Girl Scouts, perfecting my own leadership skills. The town of Ellensburg and the entire Kittitas County are fabulous, and there is always room for us to improve the community.
This year I am serving as an Oxfam Change leader, bringing climate change programing to our campus on behalf of Oxfam America.
